A temple set, made light
Sornam means gold, and this is the pure statement of it — a full collar of jhumka-shaped charms in aged antique gold, each hung with pearl clusters, nothing else competing for attention.
Each dome is hollowed and carved by hand from Cauvery basin clay, fired for eight hours, then gilded and deliberately aged. The result sits somewhere between temple jewellery and sculpture.
All that presence, almost no weight — the hollow clay keeps the collar light enough for a full evening. No nickel, no lead, no plating; adjustable cotton dori.
Wears well with: any silk — gold lifts every colour; strongest against deep maroon, bottle green and black. Care: perfume first, dry cloth only, store in its pouch.

Looking after terracotta
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Keep away from water, perfume and hairspray. Store each piece in its own pouch or box so painted surfaces do not rub. Terracotta is fired clay — it is sturdy in daily wear but will not survive a hard drop on stone floors.
Delivery and returns
Ready-to-ship pieces leave us within 2–4 days and arrive in 5–7 days across India. Made-to-order custom sets take about four weeks from confirmation. International orders add 7–14 days. Damaged-in-transit pieces are replaced free — send us an unboxing photo within 48 hours.
Six days, start to finish
Natural river clay is wedged by hand and shaped without moulds, sun-dried for two days, then kiln-fired at high heat for 8 hours. Non-toxic acrylic and metallic paints are applied by hand and kemp stones are set one at a time. No two pieces are identical.
