Shipping Policy – Indus Terracotta

This Shipping Policy describes how we process, ship, and deliver orders placed through our online store.


1. Order Processing Times

  • All orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment is received (excluding weekends and public holidays).

  • During peak periods, sales, or new launches, processing times may be slightly longer.

You will receive an email notification when your order has been packed and shipped, including tracking details where available.


2. Shipping Locations

We currently ship to:

  • India

  • Singapore

  • Malaysia

If your country is not listed at checkout, we are not yet able to ship there.


3. Shipping Methods & Estimated Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times (after dispatch):

  • Within India: ~ 3–7 business days

  • Singapore & Malaysia: ~ 5–12 business days

These are estimates only and can vary due to courier delays, customs checks, festive seasons, or unforeseen events beyond our control.


4. Shipping Fees

  • Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

  • From time to time, we may offer free shipping promotions (for example, above a certain order value or to specific regions). Any such offers will be clearly communicated on our website or at checkout.

Customs duties, import taxes, or additional charges (if any) applied by your local authorities are the responsibility of the customer, unless expressly stated otherwise.


5. Packaging & Fragile Terracotta Jewellery

Our pieces are handcrafted terracotta jewellery, which is fragile and requires careful packing.

  • Each item is wrapped and cushioned to minimise movement during transit.

  • Orders are shipped in sturdy boxes/mailers designed to protect fragile contents.

Despite our best efforts, damage can occasionally occur in transit. Please see the Damaged or Incorrect Items section below.


6. Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped:

  • You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number (for trackable services).

  • You can track your parcel using the courier’s website and the tracking number provided.

For some low‑cost or local shipping options, tracking may be limited or unavailable; this will be indicated at checkout where possible.


7. Delivery, Missed Deliveries & Wrong Address

Delivery address

  • Please ensure your shipping address and contact details are complete and accurate.

  • We are not responsible for non‑delivery or delays due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.

Missed deliveries / uncollected parcels

  • If a delivery attempt fails (e.g., no one available, parcel not collected from pickup point), the parcel may be returned to us by the courier.

  • Re‑shipping the order may incur an additional shipping fee, which will be communicated to you.


8. Damaged or Incorrect Items on Delivery

Because terracotta is fragile, it is very important that you inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

If you receive an item that is damaged in transit or not what you ordered:

  1. Contact us at info@industerracotta.com within 24 hours of delivery.

  2. Include:

    • Your order number

    • Photos of the damaged item

    • Photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label

If reported within this timeframe and confirmed by us:

  • We will offer a replacement (subject to stock availability) or a refund/credit in line with our Return & Refund Policy.

Claims made after 24 hours of delivery may not be accepted, as we are unable to verify whether damage occurred during shipping or after receipt.


9. Lost Packages

If tracking information shows your order as delivered but you have not received it:

  • Please first check with household members, neighbours, and your local post office/courier.

  • If the parcel remains missing, contact us at info@industerracotta.com with your order number and tracking details.

We will assist where possible and may open an investigation with the courier, but outcomes will depend on the courier’s findings and policies.


10. Returns & Shipping Costs

  • Returns are handled in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.

  • Whether return shipping is customer‑paid or covered by us will depend on the specific case (e.g., change of mind vs. defective/damaged on arrival). Please refer to the Return & Refund Policy for full details.
