Six days from river clay to finished piece

Nothing is moulded in bulk. Every bead is rolled, dried, fired and painted by hand.

  1. 01ShapingNatural clay is wedged by hand and rolled, then each bead and pendant is shaped without moulds.Day 1
  2. 02Sun dryingPieces rest in shade for two days, then full sun, so they dry evenly and do not crack in the kiln.Day 2 and 3
  3. 03FiringKiln-baked at high heat for eight hours. This is what makes terracotta hard, light and permanent.Day 4
  4. 04Hand paintingNon-toxic acrylic and metallic paint, kemp stones set one at a time. No two pieces are identical.Day 5 and 6

What customers say

★★★★★

Wore the Kundan set for my sister's wedding and everyone asked where it was from. So light I forgot I had it on.

They colour-matched the set to my saree over WhatsApp and shipped in four days. Packed beautifully, nothing chipped.

Ordered three sets to Singapore. Arrived in ten days, well wrapped. The finish is far better than the photos suggest.

Frequently asked

Anything not covered here, message us on WhatsApp — we usually reply within an hour.

Ask on WhatsApp
Is terracotta jewellery fragile?+

It is fired clay, so it is hard but not unbreakable. Treat it the way you would a ceramic bangle: keep it in the box between wears, don't drop it on tile, and it will last for years.

Can you match a specific saree colour?+

Yes. Send a clear photo of the saree on WhatsApp and we will mix the base tone to match. Custom orders take about four weeks.

How long does delivery take?+

Within India, 3 to 6 working days from dispatch. International orders take 8 to 14 working days and are tracked the whole way.

Is it safe for sensitive skin?+

There is no nickel, lead or plating anywhere in a piece — only fired clay, non-toxic paint and hand-set kemp stones. Necklaces and chokers hang on a cotton dori with no metal at all. Earrings need a fitting to pass through the ear, and that varies by pair, so message us on WhatsApp before ordering and we will tell you exactly what is on the one you are looking at.

What if a piece arrives chipped?+

Send us a photo within 48 hours of delivery and we replace it free of charge. Breakage in transit is always our cost.

How heavy is a full set?+

Most sets weigh 60 to 110 grams including the earrings. Each product page lists the exact weight where we have measured it.
