Hand-rolled, featherlight
A tapered cone in violet, banded near the base with gold beading and a line of bright pink, sitting on a hammered gold cap with a brass ball beneath.
The cone shape is the small jhumka form scaled down and simplified — the silhouette of temple jewellery without the weight or the price of it.
Cones are harder to make than flat pieces. The clay has to be rolled around a form and thinned toward the tip without cracking as it dries, so more are lost at the drying stage than with a disc.
Wears well with: purple, magenta and pink silk, and black. The pink band gives it a second colour to work with.
Care: put them on last, after perfume. Dry cloth, no water.

Looking after terracotta
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Keep away from water, perfume and hairspray. Store each piece in its own pouch or box so painted surfaces do not rub. Terracotta is fired clay — it is sturdy in daily wear but will not survive a hard drop on stone floors.
Delivery and returns
Ready-to-ship pieces leave us within 2–4 days and arrive in 5–7 days across India. Made-to-order custom sets take about four weeks from confirmation. International orders add 7–14 days. Damaged-in-transit pieces are replaced free — send us an unboxing photo within 48 hours.
Six days, start to finish
Natural river clay is wedged by hand and shaped without moulds, sun-dried for two days, then kiln-fired at high heat for 8 hours. Non-toxic acrylic and metallic paints are applied by hand and kemp stones are set one at a time. No two pieces are identical.
