Green needs a longer, steadier firing to hold its tone, so fewer of these leave the kiln than the warmer colours.
A temple set, made light
Carved leaf tiles in soft ivory-gold, dotted with red and green kemp, laid edge to edge into a collar. Green shell-ribbed jhumkas hang from matching tile studs.
Each tile's leaf-vein carving is cut by hand before firing; the pale gold wash is layered on after, then aged.
Gentler than bright antique gold — it flatters pastels and daylight functions. No nickel, no lead, no plating; adjustable dori.
Wears well with: sage, cream and gold-tissue sarees. Care: perfume first, dry cloth only, store in its pouch.

Looking after terracotta
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Keep away from water, perfume and hairspray. Store each piece in its own pouch or box so painted surfaces do not rub. Terracotta is fired clay — it is sturdy in daily wear but will not survive a hard drop on stone floors.
Delivery and returns
Ready-to-ship pieces leave us within 2–4 days and arrive in 5–7 days across India. Made-to-order custom sets take about four weeks from confirmation. International orders add 7–14 days. Damaged-in-transit pieces are replaced free — send us an unboxing photo within 48 hours.
Six days, start to finish
Natural river clay is wedged by hand and shaped without moulds, sun-dried for two days, then kiln-fired at high heat for 8 hours. Non-toxic acrylic and metallic paints are applied by hand and kemp stones are set one at a time. No two pieces are identical.
