A temple set, made light
<p>Meenakshi is our fullest pink temple set — the heaviest piece in the pink range, with the gold worked in layers and the detail carried densely across the pendant.</p><p>It is clay throughout. No stones are set into it; the depth comes from shaping and from successive coats of paint, built up and knocked back by hand.</p><p>The gold is aged deliberately so it sits beside zari rather than competing with it. Pink is mixed into the clay before firing. Hand-rolled, sun-dried two days, kiln-fired eight hours, sealed matte.</p><p>Temple weight in appearance, terracotta weight on the neck — which is the entire argument for this material at bridal scale.</p><p>Wears well with: Kanjivaram and heavy bridal silk in pink, maroon and cream.</p><p>Care: keep out of direct sunlight. Store wrapped on its own. Dry cloth, no water.</p>

Looking after terracotta
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Keep away from water, perfume and hairspray. Store each piece in its own pouch or box so painted surfaces do not rub. Terracotta is fired clay — it is sturdy in daily wear but will not survive a hard drop on stone floors.
Delivery and returns
Ready-to-ship pieces leave us within 2–4 days and arrive in 5–7 days across India. Made-to-order custom sets take about four weeks from confirmation. International orders add 7–14 days. Damaged-in-transit pieces are replaced free — send us an unboxing photo within 48 hours.
Six days, start to finish
Natural river clay is wedged by hand and shaped without moulds, sun-dried for two days, then kiln-fired at high heat for 8 hours. Non-toxic acrylic and metallic paints are applied by hand and kemp stones are set one at a time. No two pieces are identical.
