A temple set, made light
A deeply carved Krishna pendant — flute raised, framed in scrollwork with gold drops below — on a strand of red rounds broken by faceted gold nuggets. Red-striped jhumkas with peacock studs complete it.
The pendant is sculpted freehand from Cauvery basin clay, no moulds, fired for eight hours and finished in aged antique gold. Sculptural work at this depth is the slowest thing our workshop does.
A true temple set for Janmashtami, weddings and concerts — at clay weight instead of bronze. No nickel, no lead, no plating; adjustable dori.
Wears well with: deep red, peacock blue and gold silk. Care: perfume first, dry cloth only, store in its pouch.
- Necklace and matching earrings included
- Hand-painted gold detail
- Adjustable cotton dori, fits 14″–26″
- Comes in a cotton pouch and gift box
Looking after terracotta
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Keep away from water, perfume and hairspray. Store each piece in its own pouch or box so painted surfaces do not rub. Terracotta is fired clay — it is sturdy in daily wear but will not survive a hard drop on stone floors.
Delivery and returns
Ready-to-ship pieces leave us within 2–4 days and arrive in 5–7 days across India. Made-to-order custom sets take about four weeks from confirmation. International orders add 7–14 days. Damaged-in-transit pieces are replaced free — send us an unboxing photo within 48 hours.
Six days, start to finish
Natural river clay is wedged by hand and shaped without moulds, sun-dried for two days, then kiln-fired at high heat for 8 hours. Non-toxic acrylic and metallic paints are applied by hand and kemp stones are set one at a time. No two pieces are identical.
