Green needs a longer, steadier firing to hold its tone, so fewer of these leave the kiln than the warmer colours.
A temple set, made light
Matte gold cylinders and deep green ovals meeting at a carved flower medallion with a gold drop — asymmetric, so the greens cluster to one side.
Cylinders rolled by hand, ovals glossed over fired clay, medallion carved petal by petal and aged in antique gold.
The off-centre balance gives it a stylist's touch — modern drape, traditional finish. No nickel, no lead, no plating; adjustable dori.
Wears well with: green, ivory and gold-tissue sarees. Care: perfume first, dry cloth only, store in its pouch.
- Necklace and matching earrings included
- Hand-painted gold detail
- Adjustable cotton dori, fits 14″–26″
- Comes in a cotton pouch and gift box
Looking after terracotta
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Keep away from water, perfume and hairspray. Store each piece in its own pouch or box so painted surfaces do not rub. Terracotta is fired clay — it is sturdy in daily wear but will not survive a hard drop on stone floors.
Delivery and returns
Ready-to-ship pieces leave us within 2–4 days and arrive in 5–7 days across India. Made-to-order custom sets take about four weeks from confirmation. International orders add 7–14 days. Damaged-in-transit pieces are replaced free — send us an unboxing photo within 48 hours.
Six days, start to finish
Natural river clay is wedged by hand and shaped without moulds, sun-dried for two days, then kiln-fired at high heat for 8 hours. Non-toxic acrylic and metallic paints are applied by hand and kemp stones are set one at a time. No two pieces are identical.
