A temple set, made light
A hand-painted Kathakali face — green makeup, red crown, gold headdress — above a kemp-studded fan hung with gold bells. Jewelled barrel beads climb the dori, and each stud is its own tiny painted face.
The face is modelled and painted freehand; no two come out alike. Fired eight hours, painted in miniature, sealed by hand — the most detailed painting work in our workshop.

Looking after terracotta
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Keep away from water, perfume and hairspray. Store each piece in its own pouch or box so painted surfaces do not rub. Terracotta is fired clay — it is sturdy in daily wear but will not survive a hard drop on stone floors.
Delivery and returns
Ready-to-ship pieces leave us within 2–4 days and arrive in 5–7 days across India. Made-to-order custom sets take about four weeks from confirmation. International orders add 7–14 days. Damaged-in-transit pieces are replaced free — send us an unboxing photo within 48 hours.
Six days, start to finish
Natural river clay is wedged by hand and shaped without moulds, sun-dried for two days, then kiln-fired at high heat for 8 hours. Non-toxic acrylic and metallic paints are applied by hand and kemp stones are set one at a time. No two pieces are identical.
