Green needs a longer, steadier firing to hold its tone, so fewer of these leave the kiln than the warmer colours.
A choker with presence, made light
Valli pairs red with green rather than gold — the one set in the range that leaves metal out entirely and lets two colours carry it.
Both colours are mixed into the clay separately before firing, which is the only way to get them this saturated side by side. Hand-rolled, sun-dried two days, kiln-fired eight hours, sealed matte. Terracotta jewellery throughout — clay and colour, with no stones and no metal.
An unusual choice, and the reason to buy it.
Wears well with: plain cream, white and gold silk, where two strong colours have room.
Care: dry cloth only, no water. Store wrapped separately.

Looking after terracotta
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Keep away from water, perfume and hairspray. Store each piece in its own pouch or box so painted surfaces do not rub. Terracotta is fired clay — it is sturdy in daily wear but will not survive a hard drop on stone floors.
Delivery and returns
Ready-to-ship pieces leave us within 2–4 days and arrive in 5–7 days across India. Made-to-order custom sets take about four weeks from confirmation. International orders add 7–14 days. Damaged-in-transit pieces are replaced free — send us an unboxing photo within 48 hours.
Six days, start to finish
Natural river clay is wedged by hand and shaped without moulds, sun-dried for two days, then kiln-fired at high heat for 8 hours. Non-toxic acrylic and metallic paints are applied by hand and kemp stones are set one at a time. No two pieces are identical.
