A temple set, made light
Saroja is red and gold with lotus-shaped beads rather than plain rounds — the name means lotus, and the shaping is done by hand at the same stage as the rolling.
Shaped beads take longer and break more often before firing, so runs are smaller. Red is mixed into the clay, then the set is sun-dried, fired eight hours, gold-detailed and sealed. Terracotta jewellery throughout — clay, colour and paint, with no stones.
Wears well with: plain silk in cream, gold and maroon, where the bead shapes can be seen.
Care: shaped beads catch more easily. Store wrapped on its own, dry cloth only.

Looking after terracotta
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Keep away from water, perfume and hairspray. Store each piece in its own pouch or box so painted surfaces do not rub. Terracotta is fired clay — it is sturdy in daily wear but will not survive a hard drop on stone floors.
Delivery and returns
Ready-to-ship pieces leave us within 2–4 days and arrive in 5–7 days across India. Made-to-order custom sets take about four weeks from confirmation. International orders add 7–14 days. Damaged-in-transit pieces are replaced free — send us an unboxing photo within 48 hours.
Six days, start to finish
Natural river clay is wedged by hand and shaped without moulds, sun-dried for two days, then kiln-fired at high heat for 8 hours. Non-toxic acrylic and metallic paints are applied by hand and kemp stones are set one at a time. No two pieces are identical.
