Blue is one of the harder colours to fire evenly, so runs are short and the next batch will differ slightly.
A temple set, made light
Pavai is a deep red and gold set with matching jhumkas, hand-painted in antique gold over a fired red base.
The clay is rolled bead by bead, sun-dried for two days, then kiln-fired for eight hours before any paint touches it. Gold detail is applied afterwards by hand and sealed. Terracotta jewellery throughout — clay, colour and paint, with no stones. Because each set is finished individually, small variations in tone are part of the piece rather than a fault in it.
Wears well with: festival and wedding silk, particularly maroon and gold.
Care: keep away from water and perfume. Dry cloth only. Store in the pouch provided.

Looking after terracotta
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Keep away from water, perfume and hairspray. Store each piece in its own pouch or box so painted surfaces do not rub. Terracotta is fired clay — it is sturdy in daily wear but will not survive a hard drop on stone floors.
Delivery and returns
Ready-to-ship pieces leave us within 2–4 days and arrive in 5–7 days across India. Made-to-order custom sets take about four weeks from confirmation. International orders add 7–14 days. Damaged-in-transit pieces are replaced free — send us an unboxing photo within 48 hours.
Six days, start to finish
Natural river clay is wedged by hand and shaped without moulds, sun-dried for two days, then kiln-fired at high heat for 8 hours. Non-toxic acrylic and metallic paints are applied by hand and kemp stones are set one at a time. No two pieces are identical.
