Green needs a longer, steadier firing to hold its tone, so fewer of these leave the kiln than the warmer colours.
A choker with presence, made light
Narmada is a green and gold choker — the green concentrated at the collarbone rather than spread down a strand, which makes it read stronger than the same colour on a longer set.
Slow-fired for eight hours so the green holds its tone, then hand-painted with antique gold detail and sealed matte. Terracotta jewellery throughout — clay, colour and paint, with no stones.
Wears well with: cream, gold and mustard silk, and worked blouses where the neckline should stay visible.
Care: no water, no perfume. Wipe dry, store wrapped separately.
- Choker and matching earrings included
- Hand-painted gold detail
- Adjustable cotton dori, fits 14″–26″
- Comes in a cotton pouch and gift box
Looking after terracotta
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Keep away from water, perfume and hairspray. Store each piece in its own pouch or box so painted surfaces do not rub. Terracotta is fired clay — it is sturdy in daily wear but will not survive a hard drop on stone floors.
Delivery and returns
Ready-to-ship pieces leave us within 2–4 days and arrive in 5–7 days across India. Made-to-order custom sets take about four weeks from confirmation. International orders add 7–14 days. Damaged-in-transit pieces are replaced free — send us an unboxing photo within 48 hours.
Six days, start to finish
Natural river clay is wedged by hand and shaped without moulds, sun-dried for two days, then kiln-fired at high heat for 8 hours. Non-toxic acrylic and metallic paints are applied by hand and kemp stones are set one at a time. No two pieces are identical.
