A choker with presence, made light
Lalitha is a red and gold choker — short enough to sit above a high neckline, which is where a long haaram tends to disappear.
The red goes into the clay before firing rather than onto it afterwards, so it holds its depth at the bead edges instead of thinning. Sun-dried two days, kiln-fired eight hours, then gold-detailed and sealed matte. Terracotta jewellery throughout — clay, colour and paint, with no stones.
Wears well with: red, maroon and cream silk, and worked blouses that need the neckline left visible.
Care: put it on last, after perfume. Dry cloth only, never water.
- Choker and matching earrings included
- Hand-painted gold detail
- Adjustable cotton dori, fits 14″–26″
- Comes in a cotton pouch and gift box
Looking after terracotta
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Keep away from water, perfume and hairspray. Store each piece in its own pouch or box so painted surfaces do not rub. Terracotta is fired clay — it is sturdy in daily wear but will not survive a hard drop on stone floors.
Delivery and returns
Ready-to-ship pieces leave us within 2–4 days and arrive in 5–7 days across India. Made-to-order custom sets take about four weeks from confirmation. International orders add 7–14 days. Damaged-in-transit pieces are replaced free — send us an unboxing photo within 48 hours.
Six days, start to finish
Natural river clay is wedged by hand and shaped without moulds, sun-dried for two days, then kiln-fired at high heat for 8 hours. Non-toxic acrylic and metallic paints are applied by hand and kemp stones are set one at a time. No two pieces are identical.
