A temple set, made light
Lakshmi is our fullest antique gold set — the one to choose when you want the weight of temple jewellery in a photograph without carrying it all evening.
The gold is built in successive layers over fired clay and deliberately aged, so it reads as old metal rather than new paint. Terracotta jewellery throughout — clay, colour and paint, with no stones. Shaped by hand, sun-dried, kiln-fired for eight hours, sealed matte.
Real temple jewellery in this size would sit heavy on the neck within an hour. This does not.
Wears well with: Kanjivaram and heavy bridal silk — maroon, bottle green, deep mustard.
Care: keep out of direct sunlight. Dry cloth, cotton pouch, no water.

Looking after terracotta
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Keep away from water, perfume and hairspray. Store each piece in its own pouch or box so painted surfaces do not rub. Terracotta is fired clay — it is sturdy in daily wear but will not survive a hard drop on stone floors.
Delivery and returns
Ready-to-ship pieces leave us within 2–4 days and arrive in 5–7 days across India. Made-to-order custom sets take about four weeks from confirmation. International orders add 7–14 days. Damaged-in-transit pieces are replaced free — send us an unboxing photo within 48 hours.
Six days, start to finish
Natural river clay is wedged by hand and shaped without moulds, sun-dried for two days, then kiln-fired at high heat for 8 hours. Non-toxic acrylic and metallic paints are applied by hand and kemp stones are set one at a time. No two pieces are identical.
