Made in small batches
White hides nothing, so more of these are set aside before painting than any other colour. Runs stay small.
A temple set, made light
Kamala is white and gold on a full-length strand rather than a choker, so it falls over the chest and suits a plain silk where a shorter set would be lost.
White demands a cleaner clay body than the deeper shades, since nothing hides an uneven bead. Hand-rolled, sun-dried, fired for eight hours, then finished with antique gold and sealed. Terracotta jewellery throughout — clay, colour and paint, with no stones.
Wears well with: bright silk of any colour, and cream and gold in particular.
Care: wipe dry after each wear — white marks more readily than the darker shades. No water, no perfume.

Looking after terracotta
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Keep away from water, perfume and hairspray. Store each piece in its own pouch or box so painted surfaces do not rub. Terracotta is fired clay — it is sturdy in daily wear but will not survive a hard drop on stone floors.
Delivery and returns
Ready-to-ship pieces leave us within 2–4 days and arrive in 5–7 days across India. Made-to-order custom sets take about four weeks from confirmation. International orders add 7–14 days. Damaged-in-transit pieces are replaced free — send us an unboxing photo within 48 hours.
Six days, start to finish
Natural river clay is wedged by hand and shaped without moulds, sun-dried for two days, then kiln-fired at high heat for 8 hours. Non-toxic acrylic and metallic paints are applied by hand and kemp stones are set one at a time. No two pieces are identical.
