Made in small batches
White hides nothing, so more of these are set aside before painting than any other colour. Runs stay small.
A choker with presence, made light
Jothi is a white and gold choker. White is the least forgiving colour we fire — any unevenness in the clay body shows through — so more of these are rejected than any other shade.
Hand-rolled, sun-dried, kiln-fired for eight hours, then finished with antique gold and sealed matte. Terracotta jewellery throughout — clay, colour and paint, with no stones.
White and gold is the safest pairing in the range: it works against bright silk and plain cotton equally.
Wears well with: almost anything, which is the reason to own one.
Care: white shows marks. Dry cloth after every wear, its own pouch, no water.

Looking after terracotta
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Keep away from water, perfume and hairspray. Store each piece in its own pouch or box so painted surfaces do not rub. Terracotta is fired clay — it is sturdy in daily wear but will not survive a hard drop on stone floors.
Delivery and returns
Ready-to-ship pieces leave us within 2–4 days and arrive in 5–7 days across India. Made-to-order custom sets take about four weeks from confirmation. International orders add 7–14 days. Damaged-in-transit pieces are replaced free — send us an unboxing photo within 48 hours.
Six days, start to finish
Natural river clay is wedged by hand and shaped without moulds, sun-dried for two days, then kiln-fired at high heat for 8 hours. Non-toxic acrylic and metallic paints are applied by hand and kemp stones are set one at a time. No two pieces are identical.
