A temple set, made light
Devika is antique gold with the detail concentrated in the centre and the strand kept plain — so it reads as one clear piece rather than ornament along its whole length.
Gold is built in successive coats over fired clay and knocked back deliberately, so it looks like old metal rather than fresh paint. Terracotta jewellery throughout — clay, colour and paint, with no stones. Sealed matte.
Wears well with: heavy silk in maroon, bottle green and mustard, where a plain strand keeps the pendant the focus.
Care: keep out of direct sunlight, which dulls the gold. Dry cloth, cotton pouch, no water.

Looking after terracotta
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Keep away from water, perfume and hairspray. Store each piece in its own pouch or box so painted surfaces do not rub. Terracotta is fired clay — it is sturdy in daily wear but will not survive a hard drop on stone floors.
Delivery and returns
Ready-to-ship pieces leave us within 2–4 days and arrive in 5–7 days across India. Made-to-order custom sets take about four weeks from confirmation. International orders add 7–14 days. Damaged-in-transit pieces are replaced free — send us an unboxing photo within 48 hours.
Six days, start to finish
Natural river clay is wedged by hand and shaped without moulds, sun-dried for two days, then kiln-fired at high heat for 8 hours. Non-toxic acrylic and metallic paints are applied by hand and kemp stones are set one at a time. No two pieces are identical.
