A temple set, made light
Chithira is a multi-colour set with a larger pendant than most of the range, so it reads clearly in photographs from a distance.
Each colour is mixed into the clay separately before firing rather than painted on top, which is why the shades stay distinct instead of blurring at the joins. Hand-rolled, sun-dried, fired for eight hours, then gold-detailed and sealed. Terracotta jewellery throughout — clay, colour and paint, with no stones.
Wears well with: plain silk, where the pendant can be the single focus, and printed cotton.
Care: no water, no perfume. Dry cloth and a cotton pouch between wears.

Looking after terracotta
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Keep away from water, perfume and hairspray. Store each piece in its own pouch or box so painted surfaces do not rub. Terracotta is fired clay — it is sturdy in daily wear but will not survive a hard drop on stone floors.
Delivery and returns
Ready-to-ship pieces leave us within 2–4 days and arrive in 5–7 days across India. Made-to-order custom sets take about four weeks from confirmation. International orders add 7–14 days. Damaged-in-transit pieces are replaced free — send us an unboxing photo within 48 hours.
Six days, start to finish
Natural river clay is wedged by hand and shaped without moulds, sun-dried for two days, then kiln-fired at high heat for 8 hours. Non-toxic acrylic and metallic paints are applied by hand and kemp stones are set one at a time. No two pieces are identical.
