Hand-rolled, featherlight
A serene sculpted face in matte black, detailed in antique gold — dotted headband, teardrop tikka in pink, tiny gold drops at the ears — above a rani-pink dome carved in a petal lattice and finished with gold beads.
The face is the piece. Eyes closed, composed, framed in gold; everything below it is there to carry that stillness with a swing of colour.
Hand-shaped without moulds, sun-dried, kiln-fired, then painted and sealed matte by hand. Each face is finished individually, so no two pairs are exactly alike.
Wears well with: black, rani pink and gold — saris and heavy braids for occasions, plain black cotton to let it stand alone.
Care: put them on after perfume. Dry cloth only, never water, and store wrapped in the pouch.
- Sold as a pair
- Hand-painted gold detail
- Comes in a cotton pouch and gift box
Looking after terracotta
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Keep away from water, perfume and hairspray. Store each piece in its own pouch or box so painted surfaces do not rub. Terracotta is fired clay — it is sturdy in daily wear but will not survive a hard drop on stone floors.
Delivery and returns
Ready-to-ship pieces leave us within 2–4 days and arrive in 5–7 days across India. Made-to-order custom sets take about four weeks from confirmation. International orders add 7–14 days. Damaged-in-transit pieces are replaced free — send us an unboxing photo within 48 hours.
Six days, start to finish
Natural river clay is wedged by hand and shaped without moulds, sun-dried for two days, then kiln-fired at high heat for 8 hours. Non-toxic acrylic and metallic paints are applied by hand and kemp stones are set one at a time. No two pieces are identical.
