Hand-rolled, featherlight
A twelve-petal flower in deep red, each petal outlined in black and scored down the centre, with a single gold dot at the middle and a brass ball hanging below.
Every petal is cut and shaped individually before the piece is fired, which is why the outline sits proud rather than looking printed. On a piece this size that is the slowest part of making it.
Red is stable in the kiln, so this shade stays consistent between batches — worth knowing if you want to order a second pair later.
Wears well with: red, maroon and cream silk. Reads traditional enough for a function and simple enough for a working day.
Care: dry cloth only, no water. Store wrapped in its pouch.
- Sold as a pair
- Hand-painted gold detail
- Comes in a cotton pouch and gift box
Looking after terracotta
Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Keep away from water, perfume and hairspray. Store each piece in its own pouch or box so painted surfaces do not rub. Terracotta is fired clay — it is sturdy in daily wear but will not survive a hard drop on stone floors.
Delivery and returns
Ready-to-ship pieces leave us within 2–4 days and arrive in 5–7 days across India. Made-to-order custom sets take about four weeks from confirmation. International orders add 7–14 days. Damaged-in-transit pieces are replaced free — send us an unboxing photo within 48 hours.
Six days, start to finish
Natural river clay is wedged by hand and shaped without moulds, sun-dried for two days, then kiln-fired at high heat for 8 hours. Non-toxic acrylic and metallic paints are applied by hand and kemp stones are set one at a time. No two pieces are identical.
