Teal & Gold

Teal and gold terracotta — the hardest colour we fire, and the reason these come in the smallest runs of any palette.

Teal pigment travels under kiln heat. Eight hours at high temperature will move it, and two batches from the same mix can come out visibly different. We cannot promise an exact shade, so the honest advice is this: if the precise tone matters to you, order from the batch you can see rather than waiting for a restock, because the restock will not match.

What you get in exchange is a colour almost nobody else carries in terracotta. Blue-green rather than either one alone, and strong enough to be the single note in an outfit.

Best against plain silk in gold, cream or rust, where the teal can carry the look without competing. There is more on why kiln colour shifts here.
