Blue & Gold

Blue and gold terracotta, from deep indigo through to peacock. A counterweight to plain silk, and one of the few palettes that holds up as well in the evening as in daylight.

Blue is the second hardest colour we fire after teal — the pigment shifts under heat, so batches are small and runs differ. Choker versions read deeper because the colour is concentrated at the collarbone; longer strands spread the same shade across more beads and read lighter.

Each set is hand-rolled, sun-dried two days, kiln-fired eight hours, then gold-detailed with kemp stones set individually.

Wears well with cream, gold and off-white silk, and holds its own against mustard. If the exact blue matters, order from the batch on the page rather than waiting — the next run will not be identical.
